Hamed Lamei Ramandi is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Minerals and Energy Resources Engineering. He holds a PhD degrees in Petroleum Engineering from UNSW Sydney. His research spans a wide range of geological problems. He has two primary research areas. One is the application of high-resolution X-ray microcomputed tomography to a diverse spectrum of disciplines, including coal seam gas, hydrogeology, structural geology and material science. The other is analysis of premature failure of ground supports in underground environments.
