Combined local and discrete DVC technique for the measurement of kinematic fields in matrix-inclusions materials (99)
Performing digital volume correlation on materials composed of a fine-grained matrix and coarseinclusions can be challenging since there are two scales of interest. When inclusions present no character, a finecorrelation cannot work within the inclusions. A simple strategy is proposed to correlate inclusions separatelyusing DiscreteDVC (with an individual non-rigid correlation for each inclusion). Encouraging results for bothclay-rocks and concrete are obtained
