Tensorial tomographic investigations can be performed with X-ray based methods such as smallangle X-ray scattering and grating interferometry. Both methods are limited either by complex acquisitionschemes or limited sample size. Here we present the implementation of X-ray tensor tomography based oncircular unit cell gratings, allowing to reduce the experimental complexity by removing one degree of freedom.
